Golf: Guests at the Embarcadero Pacífico have preferred rates on green fees at the nearby El Tigre Club de Golf in Paradise Village, complete with upscale facilities and country club. Puerto Vallarta's trademark courses, designed by Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf, Robert Von Hagge, and others are within a relatively short distance from the Embarcadero Pacífico. Vista Jack Nicklaus, Vista Tom Weiskopf, Marina Vallarta, Paradise Village, Four Seasons, Mayan Palace, Flamingos, Tamarindo, and Isla de Navidad are all beautiful courses. Pools: Four gorgeous pools, plus a kid’s pool, grace the property. Complimentary lounge chairs and sun umbrellas are provided throughout the pool areas. Two of the pools are in the marina section of the hotel and wind down to the edge of the marina through the central gardens and along the palm trees of the resort. The other two adults pools and the kid’s pool are by the Villas section on the opposite side facing Banderas Bay.
Entertainment: Live entertainment and theme shows ranging from surrealistic to the international flair to the spectacular traditional national Mexican dances. Nightly performances include Beauty and the Beast, Surreal Show, Viva Las Vegas, Mexican Party, Special Night, Cabaret, and Guests Show (Games, Karaoke, etc.).
Marina: The largest marina in Mexico with capacity for over 400 slips. It’s fun to walk and admire all kind of yachts and sailboats. Plus you are close to any type of watercraft and boating adventure out in the Bay.
Exploration and Site Seeing: Enjoy some marvelous whale watching during December to April as the majestic humpback whales come to winter in Puerto Vallarta’s warm waters. Like Los Cabos, Mexico, Puerto Vallarta has its own version of Los Arcos. Unlike the above-water granite formation in Los Cabos, Los Arcos in Banderas Bay is actually an underwater marine park reserve. Los Arcos is also protected by the Mexican government and makes for excellent snorkeling tours.

Diving and Snorkeling: The calm waters of the Bay make for great snorkeling, and there are several experienced operators that will take you on excursions. Snorkel and dive with sea lions! The bay is home to turtles and an abundance of tropical fish of amazing variety. There are many secluded beaches and hidden coves along the rim of the bay, with several sites that are safe for snorkeling and first time diving. Experienced divers will find plenty of challenges as well.
Beach: The beach is very close to the resort. Enjoy sunbathing, strolling along the beach, jogging, brilliant sunsets, and soft starry nights. Consult the hotel concierge to make arrangements for jet skiing, windsurfing, fishing, and parasailing.
Water Sports: Enjoy sailing and boating, windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, water volleyball, body boarding at the beach. Independent operators offer parasailing, jet skiing, and other personal watercraft.
Kids Club: Enjoy your vacation with the confidence that your kids are having a good time, too, at the fully supervised Kids Club. Well-trained staff members provide age specific activities.
Shopping: A short walk into Puerto Vallarta yields some fun places to shop, such as the Isla Río Cuale with all the attendant small indoor shops and outdoor marketplaces surrounded by restaurants and cafés. There are many malls and small specialty shops, and fine art galleries with masks, pottery, woodcarvings, silver, hand-dyed rugs, and more. You will also find on the Malecón boardwalk restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and artists sculptures.
